A cute hand carved brown nephrite deers and tree ornament. This piece of brown jade has a very beautiful caramel color which is not often seen in this type of brown jade.
Deer and tree is a very often seen theme in Chinese jade carving, the carver often gives it a beautiful name: ‘一路有你’, which '路' - 'way' is a homophones of '鹿' - 'deer'.
"一路有你" can be translated as "With You All the Way" or "Having You Along the Way". It conveys a sense of companionship, support, and gratitude for someone's presence throughout a journey, whether literal or metaphorical.
