This lotus pendant is carved from a high-quality and rare piece of Qinghai Hetian white jade. While typical Qinghai jade is known for its icy translucency, this piece stands out with excellent whiteness and a rich, oily texture — closely resembling the prized mutton fat jade from Xinjiang. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to call it mutton fat white jade.
